The 11th Annual Sunday on Souby

The 11th Annual Sunday on Souby

On September 22, Harpeth Hall students, families, alumnae, and friends gathered on a beautiful September day to partake in the 11th annual Sunday on Souby fall festival!

Throughout the day on Souby Lawn, students took the stage to showcase their musical talents and served as the main entertainment. The 7th and 8th grade Orchestra performed a lively rendition of “Fiddlers on Fire,” the 8th grade and Upper School Chamber Orchestra delighted the crowd with a performance of “All Star,” and the Upper School Orchestra performed a lovely interpretation of “Eleanor Rigby.” Members of the Middle and Upper School choirs performed a fantastic selection of songs from Earth, Wind & Fire’s “September” to Kasey Musgraves' “Rainbow” to ABBA’s “Angel Eyes,” and more!

In the Kids Zone, children had a blast at the inflatable slides, bounce houses, a balloon station, and a face painting station and cooled down with refreshing snow cones. Inside Bullard Gym, kids (and maybe the Honeybear) participated in the annual cakewalk and students displayed their entries to the cake decorating contest.

Overall, it was an incredible day filled with upbeat entertainment, sweet treats, and fun all around. We hope you join us again next year!

Thank you to Tahra Cyr and Emma McDaniel (HHPA Co-Chairs), Hays Brandon Estes ’03 and Aly Armistead Greer ’05 (Head's Young Alumnae Council Co-Chairs), our emcee Grace Clayton ’01, The Dad’s Network, and all of our wonderful alumnae, parent, and student volunteers who made this day possible!
