As we head into May and the end of the school year, the spring sports teams at Harpeth Hall get ready to wrap up their seasons. We are proud of all our athletic teams this spring, and we want to briefly highlight the lacrosse and track & field teams for their outstanding performances.
The Harpeth Hall varsity lacrosse team has had a record breaking season. The Honeybears stayed undefeated for the first 11 games of the season, earning them the highest national ranking in program history (9th). Junior LeeLee Denton (pictured) has led the Bears in scoring, averaging 4 goals per game. The team is currently in the playoffs and will make a run for the TGLA State Championship.
Middle School Track
With 17 state championships, Harpeth Hall's track & field program has been recognized and respected at the high school level for many years, but any coach would tell you that a strong high school program is only made possible by a strong middle school program. This year's middle school track and field team has shown incredible potential for future success. The team is expected to finish well in the HVAC Championship Meet on May 1st and 3rd at Franklin Road Academy.
The Harpeth Hall community celebrated our senior spring sport athletes at the Spring Beargate and fish fry last week. Many thanks to the HH Dad's Network, the HHPA, the senior moms, students, faculty, and Honeybear fans for all their support. Senior spring athletes are pictured in the main photo at the Senior Celebration Beargate.
