Mock Trial State Competition

Mock Trial State Competition

Congratulations on a great season HH Mockies!

Harpeth Hall's Mock Trial team, the "HH Mockies," had an outstanding 2019 season. They sent two teams to the Davidson County competition with fantastic results: the Silver team won second place and the Green team won third.

The Silver team advanced to the Tennessee State Competition which occurred March 22-23, at the end of Spring Break. Fourteen teams from across the state were eligible to compete this year, and through the rounds of competition it was narrowed down to two teams in the championship: Harpeth Hall and Maury County's Agathos Classical School.

In a hard fought contest Harpeth Hall came up shy of total victory, but we are immensely proud of how our team came together to compete. Many thanks to Coach Christy Crider, to Janette Klocko for her invaluable prep work, and to faculty sponsors Tony Springman and Art Echerd.

The team won 2nd place in the State. Special recognition was awarded to Keona Dordor (team MVP) and Annmarie Allos (3rd best defense attorney out of 42 competitors).

Congratulations to Agathos Classical School and congratulations to HH Mockies. We are so proud of you!
