The Harpeth Hall Class of 2019 graduated Monday, May 27, on Souby Lawn. The beautiful weather perfectly complemented the celebration of the 99 members of the graduating class in Harpeth Hall's 68th Commencement. Proud friends, families, and faculty gathered on the Lawn to witness the ceremony.
Senior Zora Young spoke about the Class of 2019's close-knit nature and the highlights of their years together. Young ruminated on the support she and her classmates received from each other and the Harpeth Hall community at large, saying, "There are not enough words to describe the immense love and encouragement that permeates throughout this campus. In the simplest way, Harpeth Hall is like the book you don't want to put down and never will."
Jess Hill, Head of School, reflected on the bond between the 99 young women and their countless accomplishments, both individually and as a group. She encouraged them to "embrace the challenge, savor the ordinary, and remember that you are nobody but yourself."
