WORDS FROM WELLESLEY

Wellesley Wilson

WELCOME

I am often asked what I love about Harpeth Hall, and always my response is "how much time do you have?" There are so many incredible things happening for girls on this campus that it's hard to know where to begin. Where else can a fifth grader meet 52 new friends and work together in the school garden harvesting butternut squash, a seventh grader take a deep dive into understanding Nashville's refugee community through the year-long SEEK Program, a ninth grader try something new by joining Model United Nations or writing for Logos, the Upper School newspaper, and a senior engage in STEM research with professors at Vanderbilt University? Where else can a school be named the 2018 National Swim Champions? Extraordinary experiences surround Harpeth Hall girls each day. At Harpeth Hall, girls are seen and valued. Here, they will find their place, their friends, and their voice.

While the girls are busy in the classroom, the Board of Trustees is actively engaged in the process of identifying Harpeth Hall's next Head of School. An update about the Head of School Search was recently sent to the community, and you can find more information here.

We know there are many fantastic school choices in Nashville, and we welcome the opportunity to share with you the importance of single-gender education for girls at Harpeth Hall. We want to help you identify the best match for your family and provide you with the information you need to move forward confidently. I look forward to seeing you on October 2 for the Introduction to Harpeth Hall for Middle School Families and on October 9 for the Introduction to Harpeth Hall for Upper School Families. Please visit your admission portal to register.

Here's to the girls!
