The swimming and diving team has won 14 state titles, most recently being in 2017, as well as back-to-back Swimming World National Championships in 2018 and 2019. The team has been the winner of the MTHSSA Middle Region Championship a total of 25 times. The Swimming and Diving program has produced three Olympic athletes, gold medalist Gretchen Walsh '21, silver medalist Alex Walsh ’20, and gold medalist Tracy Caulkins Stockwell ’81. Currently, nine Harpeth Hall alumnae swim and dive at the collegiate level at University of Virginia, Birmingham Southern College, Rhodes College, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, University of California - Berkeley, Middlebury College, Queens University of Charlotte, and Emory University.
