The basketball team has won two state titles, most recently being in 2005. Since 1998, the Honeybears have appeared in 11 Division II State Tournaments. In 2025, Coach Nikki Keathley joined Harpeth Hall as the Assistant Athletic Director and Girls Varsity Basketball Head Coach. During her college career, Coach Keathley helped Belmont claim two conference tournament titles and three regular-season crowns — while compiling an impressive 89 wins. Currently, Ava Krumweide '25 is playing basketball collegiately for Harvard University.
