James Spearman

James Spearman is a professional artist who specializes in figurative oil paintings. He earned a BFA degree from Wayne State University with a specialty in Interior Architectural Design and Space planning. James is an exhibiting member of Tennessee Arts League. He was commissioned by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio, Ford Motor Company and The Arts League of Michigan to paint “Soul of Rock." He was commissioned by The Martin Luther King Task Force, Southfield, Michigan to sculpt a bronze metal bust of Dr. King. He was instructor for 18 years with the Arts League of Michigan mentorship program and a board member for 5 years with Maury County Arts Guild. Spearman has worked as an art instructor with Healing Art Project, Inc. from 2008 to present.
