Born in Brooklyn NY, Arlene Wilson grew up in the Washington DC area.  She moved to Nashville 15 years ago from Providence, RI where she maintained a studio as a fiber artist and textile designer for 17 years. Previously she spent 10 years as a medical technologist then founded a stained glass studio, factory and historic restoration company in Fort Smith, AR.  Her time in Nashville has been spent pursuing painting and collage with a watchful eye on the environment and working earnestly to add more trees to the Nashville tree canopy and beyond.
