Alumnae Welcome

Celebrating 6,000 plus alumnae in
49 states and 30 countries.
Welcome from Alumnae Board President

Dear Harpeth Hall Alumnae,

I am thrilled to have the distinct privilege to serve as the Alumnae Board President for the 2019-2020 school year.

After spending 20 years living in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and most recently New York City, I moved back to Nashville five years ago with my family. So much had changed since I had left - the downtown skyline, the restaurants, the traffic(!), and I felt as though I had returned to a city that seemed very foreign to me. A few days after we arrived, I drove past Harpeth Hall and had to pull in. I walked past Souby Hall and across Souby lawn. I passed The Senior House and walked into the library. With each step I took, a flood of amazing memories came back to me - it was at this moment, that I knew I was home.

Our mission statement points out that “Harpeth Hall develops responsible citizens who have global perspectives and make meaningful contributions to their communities and the world”. With 6,000 plus strong alumnae in 49 states and 30 countries, it’s so exciting to see the HH mission being fulfilled! Each one of us is an important part of this, and we would welcome all of you to participate in any of the many Alumnae opportunities available to give back - let us lift up the mind and spirit!

Sincerely yours,
