Harpeth Hall is committed to keeping our alumnae connected beyond their years on campus. Our Alumnae Relations Office has launched the Alumnae Network (powered by Evertrue) as an easy and secure way to reconnect and network with classmates and mentors. The Network combines your public information from LinkedIn and Facebook with the information you have shared with Harpeth Hall, thus making it a powerful networking tool that is free only to our alumnae. 
 

NOTE: Privacy settings on the app will be the same as your LinkedIn and Facebook accounts.

How to Log In

USING YOUR LINKEDIN ACCOUNT:  Use the email and password that is associated with your LinkedIn account. 

USING YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS: Enter your full name, email, and password to sign up. If the email matches the one Harpeth Hall has on file, you will receive an authentication email in your inbox immediately. Open the email, and click “Verify” to have access to the Network.

NOTE: If your email does not match the email Harpeth Hall has on file for you, the Alumnae Relations Office will match your new email with the Harpeth Hall Alumnae Network. This is usually done in 1-2 business days. Once matched, you will receive a verification email. Click "verify" and you will have access to the Network.

Features

Alumni Nearby

This part of the Harpeth Hall Alumnae Network allows for you to view where Harpeth Hall alumnae are throughout the world. It DOES NOT track your actual location, just the postal address we have in our database or what you have listed on LinkedIn. If your address is incorrect, please update it by going under your profile, scrolling down to the bottom, and pressing the “Update this profile” button. This action will update your address in the Harpeth Hall Alumnae Network, and we will update it in our database as well. Please make sure to identify it as “new home address” or “new work address.”

Professionals To Know

This section directly correlates with LinkedIn. It allows for you to directly connect and network with alumnae suggested for you specifically based on interests, career paths, and other variables. You can contact fellow alumnae about jobs, internships, and career advice.

Classmates

The Classmates field allows for you to see where your classmates are living and working. It combines the information found on LinkedIn and in Harpeth Hall’s database to give you an accurate profile about each classmate.

Directory

The Directory feature gives you the ability to search either for a specific alumna or to filter alumnae by name, career, education, and location. It is a great tool for those looking network for your next internship, job, or just to reconnect.

News and Social

This page automatically links to the Harpeth Hall School’s Facebook page, so you can continue to stay connected with the Harpeth Hall community through social media. Be sure to like the page, interact with it, and share. We love to see alumnae involvement and engagement on social media.

Be a Mentor/Find a Mentor

On the Alumnae Network, there is a mentorship feature. If you choose, you can self-identify as a mentor for other Harpeth Hall alumnae. Once logged into the Network, click the settings icon in the top right corner of the home page and move the toggle to green that coincides with the “Willing to Mentor?” question. Once enabled, a tag will appear on your profile labeled “Mentor.” The mentor flag will also appear when other alumnae are searching and filtering within the app.

FAQ's

How can I manage my privacy settings?

By default, the following is automatically published for all alumnae in the directory: name, home address, email address, phone number, education, and employment. 

Only Harpeth Hall alumnae have access to the Harpeth Hall Alumnae Network. Information contained within the Network will never be shared with third parties. Any privacy restrictions from your LinkedIn and Facebook accounts will be the same in the Harpeth Hall Alumnae Network. You may edit or suppress your own information at any time.

If you wish to customize your settings so that particular information will not be visible to other constituents, go to your profile and click the “Update this profile” button located at the bottom of your screen on the app. Please note that changes will appear in 1 to 2 business days.

If you wish to hide all of your information, simply press the “settings” icon in the top right corner and slide the toggle next to “Hide my information.” On the desktop version, click on your profile, and click “Manage Settings.” Then on the left side tab, click “Profile Visibility.” If you chose to make your profile only visible to yourself, you can still access and use the Alumni Community App, but your profile will not be visible to other users.

Why should I connect my LinkedIn account?

Connecting via LinkedIn enhances some of the Network’s built-in features, like "Professionals to Know" and other filtering options. It will also allow you to view information others have included in their LinkedIn profiles and the number of connections you have in common. Anything marked as private in LinkedIn remains private. Don’t forget to list the Harpeth Hall School in the education section of your LinkedIn profile, and be sure to join the Harpeth Hall Alumnae LinkedIn group!

How do I search for people nearby?

On the mobile version, click the “Alumni Nearby” tab on the homepage.

On the web version, click the “Find Alumnae” drop-down in the top right corner and click “Alumnae Nearby.” A map will appear with the Harpeth Hall logo indicating people in your area. Clicking on one of these logos will open that alum’s listing in the directory. To view that alum’s full profile, click the round information button to the right of their name. 

If you are traveling or wanting to connect with Harpeth Hall alums in other cities, search for users across the globe by entering any zip code, city, state, or country in the search bar. The map feature will navigate to that location and show the constituents listed in that part of the world.

Can I email or call another alumna directly from the app?

Yes, from the “Directory” tab, click directly on the email or phone on the alumna’s profile to email or call. Phone calls may only be made from devices with phone capability.

Does the app show my current location?

No, your current location is not tracked via Evertrue. The Alumnae Nearby function pins your home address, and it will not show anyone your current location.
