How is the rise of cryptocurrency affecting economies around the world? How can I help my peers understand the basics of cryptocurrency and these effects?

My goal with my capstone project is to effectively and simply communicate the fundamentals of cryptocurrency to my peers. I want them to be able to understand the concept and basic information as well as how it is changing the world around them. To do this, I researched cryptocurrency itself and explored its interesting effects on the economies in two different countries: El Salvador and Afghanistan.
