January 17: Redwood State Park

We were on the road again today with stops at the Redwood State Park, San Jose, and finally San Francisco.

During our hike through the Redwoods, we marveled at the sheer size of the beautiful trees as we learned that some of the trees are over 200 feet tall and as old as the Common Era. After that, we ventured to San Jose to look at Apple Park and eat an amazing lunch. Next, we walked over the entirety of the Golden Gate Bridge to a viewpoint of the skyline.

Then, we, unfortunately, had to say goodbye to our amazing bus driver Dennis. We had some free time after that including a choice dinner! A number of our group went to Lombard Street, Fisherman's Wharf, and Pier 39. Lastly, we ended our day in Ghirardelli Square with ice cream.
