January 17: Hollywood

This morning, we ate breakfast before driving to the Hollywood Walk of Fame. On the way, we saw the high school where "Victorious" was filmed. We started walking from (Harpeth Hall alumna) Reese Witherspoon's star and had some time to meander. We also got to go to the world's largest independent record store, Amoeba.

After walking around on Hollywood Boulevard for about an hour, we drove to Beverly Hills to eat lunch and walk around Rodeo Drive. After lunch, we headed to the Getty Museum, where we saw paintings by famous European artists like Monet and Van Gogh. We even got to watch the sunset from the West Terrace. Then, we went to the Gjusta Bakery for dinner. Finally, we went to Wanderlust Creamery, which is a local ice cream shop very similar to Jeni's.

We feel bittersweet about our last night because we don't want to leave but we miss our homes.
