Today was filled with lots of free time and exploration, and we once again embraced the rain to still seek incredible experiences.

We had the option to explore the Monterey Bay Aquarium or to walk around Cannery Row, and the rest of our day was free until 2 p.m.! We got to pick out our own lunch spots and stop in gift shops and local businesses with our friends.

We met back at the hotel in the afternoon for a whale workshop with two representatives from Monterey Bay Whale Watch to learn about the purpose, complexities, and species of whales. We played whale identification matching games and asked lots of questions to get the most out of this time!

We received some more free time until our group dinner at a local restaurant! A day of exploration and rest was incredible before our last busy days in San Francisco! We are ready!
