What defines literacy and how is literacy shaped in Niger, Afghanistan, and Greenland?

In my project, I worked to understand various definitions and measurements for literacy before examining the factors that contribute to literacy rates in Afghanistan, Niger, and Greenland. For each country I examined, I worked to understand both the conditions that inhibit literacy and the initiatives that promote it. My product is a website with blog posts presenting my research and what I have learned from examining each country about fostering literacy.
