I decided to research the elements of Victorian era interior design and the history behind them. I explored parlors and bedrooms as well as the furniture, colors, and lighting in these rooms. I decided to apply my research by designing a Victorian era inspired parlor room for a very special client, my grandmother. For my final project I created a moodboard that includes the furniture I chose for the room, paint colors, and a floorplan. The project helped me gain an understanding of the work involved in interior design and how to better manage my time.
