I took a short story and turned it into a properly formatted screenplay. I was inspired to create this project because of my love for writing and how I wanted to try to branch out and write in a different way. I took an old short story that I wrote in seventh grade and rewrote it as a screenplay, although I had to rewrite the whole plot first. Along the way, I learned how to go back and revise old works, how to carefully plan out a plot, and how to properly format a screenplay.
