For my SEEK project, I researched the human brain and how our actions impact the way the brain functions. My goal was to create a model that informs middle schoolers about the human brain in a fun and interactive way. Through my research, I learned about parts of the human brain and their individual functions. I also learned about a few types of brain diseases and habits that can have a negative impact on the brain. For my final product, I used my research to create an interactive diagram of the human brain using ThingLink. My resource helps students understand habits that we know can be harmful to our brains, but that we often overlook or neglect to change. Through the SEEK process, I increased my knowledge on the human brain.
