I researched the creation of poetry. My goal was to design a book of poems and artwork for students of all ages to enjoy reading. To create my SEEK product, I researched four types of poems: haiku, limerick, sonnet, and free-verse. Furthermore, I included art to accompany the majority of poems to highlight the message of each. My final product is a small book containing 28 poems and 17 pieces of artwork, including a prologue and an epilogue. Through SEEK, I learned two valuable lessons: time management and perseverance. I also learned how much I love writing poems, and that even though this SEEK project is over, I can still be a poet!
