I researched Congenital Heart defects such as VSD and Coarctation of the Aorta, and common symptoms and causes of heart defects. For my product I wanted to create a fun way for kids to learn about the heart and Congenital Heart defects, so I made a board game called Shunts and Chambers. The game teaches about how the heart functions as players move through the heart gathering oxygen or carbon dioxide and exchanging it in the lungs.
