For my SEEK project, I created a business plan for a bracelet business. My goal was to learn more about how to start a business and all of the elements that go into creating a business plan. To create my SEEK product, I researched the format of a business plan, viewed completed business plans and made a product to sell. Additionally, I connected with Brooke Worthington, a Harpeth Hall alumna who is now a successful entrepreneur in Nashville. She gave me constructive feedback throughout the process and helped me improve my business plan. Throughout my year in SEEK, I learned the risks of starting a business, how to use market research to determine the price of a product, and the format and purpose of business plans. I also learned the value of time management and motivating myself to get tasks done.
