I researched how the stars Alpha Centauri A and B emit different electromagnetic waves. I learned about nuclear fusion, visible, infrared, ultraviolet, and X-ray waves, the structure of stars, and the process of writing an inferential summary. As a result of my research, I built a model and wrote a summary, which I plan to submit for publication in Scholastic or The New York Times STEM writing contest. The model represents different aspects of nuclear fusion, Alpha Centauri A and B, and the electromagnetic waves I researched. Using tools in the Design Den, I built, painted, and designed the model with circuits. After completing my SEEK research and final product, I have a better understanding of nuclear fusion, hard work, and model making.
