Nurse Substitute

Harpeth Hall seeks a Nurse Substitute for the school. The Nurse Substitute position is a critical part of supporting students. The substitute will report to the Director of Counseling. The position is part-time and exempt.
Desired Qualifications:
- Exceptional communicator.
- Experience working with students.
- Registered Nurse certified and licensed with State of Tennessee and in good standing with the Tennessee Board of Nursing
- Able to use technology confidently.
- Timeliness and organization.
Position Requirements and Responsibilities:
- Provides appropriate care for ill and/or injured students;
- Administers first aid to students/staff, when necessary, in accordance with school policies and state law;
- Administers OTC medications as needed per school policy and prescription medications or specialized nursing care procedures under physician’s orders.
- Provides care to high risk students and those with chronic illnesses;
- Performs related work as required;
- Employment is “at will,” meaning Harpeth Hall or the substitute may end the employment relationship at any time with or without reason or notice.
- All employees of Harpeth Hall are expected to support and adhere to school policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
