Middle School Visual Art Teacher

The Harpeth Hall School seeks a knowledgeable, passionate, upbeat, and committed Middle School Visual Art Teacher. The ideal candidate is an experienced educator with a strong interest in developing curriculum aligned with the school’s mission and vision. Our team is looking for a teacher who understands the best possible ways to motivate and teach middle school-age girls. Most importantly, this teacher is able to inspire students and cultivate a strong sense of belonging within the classroom. A skillful collaborator and communicator, this teacher has an ability to build trusting relationships with children and adults alike. Additional qualifications include, enthusiasm for all aspects of school life, comfort with technology, and a willingness to learn technology systems that support daily classroom routines and instruction. The ideal candidate should have prior experience teaching art with middle school students and the capacity to teach across all grades 5-12.
