Middle School Extended Day Staff Member

The Harpeth Hall School seeks a Middle School Extended Day Staff Member. This is a non-exempt hourly position that reports to the Auxiliary Programs Director. The Extended Day staff supervise Middle School students from 3:05 - 6:00 p.m. each school day (Monday – Friday) providing study hall time and supervised recreation time. Typical hours are 2:45 - 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Further opportunities are available on Wednesday morning from 7:00 am – 9: 00 am. The pay is $17 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Supervise students during study hall and unstructured recreation time
- Monitor students checking in and out of the program
- Verifying parents sign students out when they are picked up
- Escort students to athletic and dance programs at appropriate times
Required Qualifications
- A love of engaging with Middle School aged students
- A true people person who brings a smile to work with them each day
- Education background or other childcare experience preferred
- CPR certified preferred
