We are delighted you are interested in Harpeth Hall! We look forward to getting to know your family and working with you through the application process.

New families to the Harpeth Hall admission process must create an online account. You will receive login information to access the admission portal, including admission events and our online application.

Returning or current families may navigate directly to the admission portal to add a prospective student, access admission events, and our online application. 

The admission portal serves as the central hub for admission activity.  Within the portal, you are able to:

  • Schedule a campus tour
  • Request a student visit day
  • Register for on-campus and virtual admission events
  • Access our online application

Applications are due January 8, 2024. Harpeth Hall’s largest entry classes are 5th, 7th, and 9th grades. Admission to 6th, 8th, and all other grades is entirely dependent upon available space.

Admission Checklist for 2024-25

Our application has two parts. After completing Part I, the components of Part II will be accessible in your admission portal.

  • Part I:  Family Information Form, Parent and Guardian Questionnaire, About the Applicant, Applicant Essay due January 8, 2024
  • Part II:  Admission interview, ISEE at Harpeth Hall, ISEE test scores receipt, official transcript from current school, English and math teacher recommendations

We seek to enroll curious, engaged young women regardless of their family's ability to pay.
Harpeth Hall does not charge an application fee.

Admission Interview: Available interview dates and times will appear for selection in your admission portal. Harpeth Hall offers interviews on select dates and times October through early February.

Official School Transcript Release Form and English and Math Teacher Recommendations: Links to these forms will be available on December 1, 2023 and after Part I of the application is complete. Transcripts can be faxed to 615-647-0724 or emailed to admission@harpethhall.org. We do not expect fall semester grades to be available until after winter break. Your student’s official transcript and teacher recommendations are due no later than Friday, February 2, 2024.

Scores from the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE): Register to take the ISEE this fall and have scores sent to Harpeth Hall. Harpeth Hall's ISEE School Code is 431670. We ask that your student take the ISEE no later than January 31.

ISEE fee waivers are available to Harpeth Hall applicants. To request a fee waiver, families must complete the Parents' Financial Statement portion of the School and Student Services (SSS) financial aid application. Upon completion, notify the Office of  Admission and Financial Aid for your request to be considered.

Harpeth Hall accepts only one ISEE score per admission cycle.

 

 

Important Dates

The Middle School Introduction to Harpeth Hall welcomes prospective parents and/or guardians of students interested in the 2024-25 school year.  Harpeth Hall’s Head of School, admission and middle school administrators, students, and faculty will share information about our middle school program as well as discuss the admission and financial aid process. Registration required through your admission portal.
 

The Discover Harpeth Hall program is available to prospective families interested in our upper school for the 2024-25 school year. This evening program is an opportunity for you and your daughter to learn more about the Harpeth Hall upper school experience. Faculty and students will share our academic and co-curricular programs. Prospective students will explore the upper school alongside current students. Registration is required through your admission portal.

Campus Wide

Admission Preview Day is your opportunity to learn more about Harpeth Hall. On-site registration begins at 1:30 p.m. Our program begins at 2 p.m. Explore our campus with your family and hear from our head of school, faculty, and students about academic, co-curricular, and leadership programs such as WinterimSEEK, and College Counseling

Virtual Event

Hear from current parents and alumnae of color as they share insights into their Harpeth Hall experiences, reflect on community and affinity spaces, and highlight the ways in which the skills they learned at Harpeth Hall prepared them for their lives and careers. Gather advice and perspective from current parents as they share their family's decision to attend and the ways in which they/their daughters are supported and empowered. Moderated by Director of Equity and Inclusion Jasmin Hopkins.
