7 Ways Harpeth Hall and MBA Collaborate

1. Academics

The eighth-grade at Harpeth Hall and MBA partner each year in a STEM Day, featuring activities and speakers that deepen students' knowledge of STEM subjects and careers. In addition, both schools co-host national speakers on timely topics, providing a foundation for further conversations between Harpeth Hall and MBA students and faculty.

2. Athletics

Students from each school are able to benefit from the many resources on each campus as the athletic directors and coaches frequently work to coordinate schedules and to share field space and transportation to away events.

3. Community Service

Throughout the year, both middle and upper school students from both schools participate in service projects together, including Hands on Nashville, Race for the Cure, and clean-ups at area parks.

4. Parents

There are several joint parent meetings throughout the year, including Legal Realities and Transition to College Night.

5. Social Activities

Planned activities bring students from both schools together for social and recreational activities.

6. Upper School Theatre Productions

Harpeth Hall and MBA thespians participate annually in a fall musical with each school hosting the musical on alternating years. In addition, students are cast in each other's fall and spring productions.

7. Upper School Music Concerts

Joint choirs and orchestras perform at each other's fall and spring concerts.

The Harpeth Hall School and Montgomery Bell Academy are located in West Nashville. Conveniently, the schools are only minutes away from one another, approximately 2.7 miles apart.
