Announcing the Bullard Bright IDEA Lab
Promoting Innovation, Design, and Education in Action
In a time when life is reimagined for all of us and the norms and routines of yesterday are shed, a Bright IDEA Lab gives us the opportunity to envision a different kind of learning space. A classroom, presentation space, studio, maker space, and lab all in one, this flexible space is without definition in the traditional sense. Students and teachers are invited to enter and learn from each other, build on shared experiences, design better solutions, take intellectual risks, and explore new frontiers. In this space, the connections, collaborations, and possibilities are endless.
- Jess Hill, Head of School
A capital contribution serves to enhance Harpeth Hall's buildings and grounds. As opposed to a gift that supports annual operating expenses, a capital gift represents an investment in the school's future. Customarily, a capital contribution is given in addition to an Annual Fund gift.
To support the Bright IDEA Lab with a capital contribution, email Director of Advancement Susan Moll or call 615-346-0087.
At Harpeth Hall, ambitions become achievements and girls become purposeful women prepared to change the world. We are thrilled to announce the next level in our school’s educational excellence — the Bullard Bright IDEA Lab.
The Bright IDEA Lab will transform Bullard Gymnasium in the Hortense Bigelow Ingram Upper School into a place for learning, experimenting, and dreaming as you've never seen before. Featuring maker spaces, a podcast studio, a robotics room, a teaching kitchen for adventures in chemistry, a student commons area, and other spaces designed to foster innovation, the Lab will be an epicenter for creativity, critical thought, and collaboration.
In the Bullard Bright IDEA Lab students and teachers will learn from each other, build on shared experiences, take intellectual risks, and explore new frontiers.
Visionary projects like this one move forward through the generosity of our community. Fundraising is well underway, with 70% of the necessary funds already committed. We invite you to help make this bright idea a reality. A capital gift today supports a brighter tomorrow for our girls.
